Twenty years of practice, on our own land.
Prebiotic bio-agents that nurture the microbes already in the soil and water, used on Hung Yat's own crops and ponds in Hong Kong.
Regenerative Agriculture
Restoration, not modification. We are not engineering the plant, we rebuild what feeds it. Our bio-agents are prebiotic: they nurture the microbes already present in the soil rather than introducing foreign ones, and a rebuilt soil microbiome yields a plant that defends itself.
Prebiotic Soil Science
Our eco-enzyme formulations function as prebiotics, feeding the beneficial microbes already present in the soil. This restores natural nutrient cycles and removes the need for chemical fertilizers. Patent pending in Hong Kong.
Plant Health
A Lingnan University trial measured a 74.6% reduction in tomato leaf-spot lesion area, with chlorophyll content and photosynthetic efficiency (Fv/Fm) restored. The plant primes its own defences rather than being shielded by a spray.

Aquaculture
Three aquaculture species ship from Hung Yat today. The same prebiotic approach reaches the feed, where fermented fruit waste has been tested with Lingnan University.
- Red claw crayfish Also sold as blue lobster (藍龍蝦)
- Rainbow tilapia
- Jade perch
A controlled feeding trial with Lingnan University tested a fermented fruit waste additive in the diet of gilthead seabream. Read the fruit-waste aquafeed case
